Bliss Fest, hosted by Windsong Ranch, has been rescheduled for Saturday, April 27, noon to 4 p.m. at 1001 Windsong Parkway South in Prosper. The event offers fitness and meditation demonstrations, works from local artists, motivational speakers, live music, culinary classes, and even goat yoga. Belclaire architect Keith Taylor, who has an impressive resume with 27 years in single family home design and production as well as 12 years in multi-family production, is sharing some of the latest architectural trends and features buyers can expect to see in their new American Legend home.

Belclaire Homes: How do Belclaire Homes’ floor plans stand out from competitors?
Keith Taylor: Our plans have a more “custom” feel through thoughtful designs such as open floor plans, volume ceilings, gourmet kitchens, creative options and higher-end finishes.

Belclaire: What are the newest trends in home designs that Belclaire is incorporating?
Keith: New trends include single dining areas, optional guest/mother-in-law suites complete with living and kitchenette spaces, and connectable outdoor and indoor living spaces. We have several floor plans, for example, that feature sliding glass panel doors that essentially open the main living area to the outdoor covered living space, adding considerable square footage for everyday use and entertaining.

Belclaire: What features are most buyers really wanting or expecting today?
Keith: Buyers are really looking for flexibility. They want options to personalize their homes in a way that will fit their specific lifestyle needs. Many want to be able to accommodate multi-generational living; some want a floor plan that allows them to grow or change the purpose of a room as their families grow and change.
